The end of 2022 is approaching fast. Time to look back on the past year and be ready for the future! 

Booker Tools is ready for the future and assists your booking process now with a new look & feel!

Booker Tools now has a new clean and fresh look.

The new design uses the latest technology to achieve this and has been rewritten to be ready for the future.
We hope you like this new look which has some changes to improve accessibility and make it more mobile-responsive. They’re not significant changes, but they really help present your content in a clear and clean way.

July 2022 update – Scheduled Show Status Changes

We hope you’re doing great during this busy time of the year.

As usual, we keep on improving Booker Tools for you. This time we’ve added the option to schedule show changes. Remembering to announce the show of one of your artists is a thing of the past !

Schedule show status changes

From now on, it is possible to have Booker Tools automatically update your show’s status on a certain date.
Just plan your ‘scheduled show change’ on the show page, fill in the form (see image above) and you’re set. 

This way, you don’t have to remember to announce the shows manually, and can Booker Tools be used to update your website while you’re on the road. We hope this can save you a little time.

May 2022 update

Dear booker,

Hurray! Festival season is approaching, and it’s promising to be busy as ever. As usual, we’ve been adding small changes, to try to reduce your workload. Prefilling the exclusivity component for example, together with other small improvements.

We have added a larger improvement, a different way of looking at your upcoming shows:

Upcoming show kanban board

Kanban what ?

According to Wikipedia, a kanban board visually displays work at various stages of a process using cards to represent work items and columns to represent each stage of the process. Cards are moved from left to right to show progress and to help coordinate teams performing the work. 

As you may have realized, this is an excellent way of displaying your upcoming shows. We have implemented drag & drop functionality for easy status updates too.

Furthermore, we improved admin/user role switching, the exclusivity component and several bugfixes.

March 2022 update

We’ve implemented several small changes to make your life easier and improve user experience. Read along for more details.

Email alerts for band members

Ticking a simple checkbox when changing a show status, can email this update to all related band members. A simple adjustment that saves you time.

Ticket links automatically linked to your website

On a show page, you can now enter external links to ticket purchase pages or Facebook events. 
Thanks to our updated WordPress plugin, these links automatically appear on your website.

We’ve also added a “soldout” checkbox – put it to good use 😉

Several other changes

Furthermore, we improved our search functionalities and several warning pop-ups. Besides that, you can now link a primary booker to a band, and add invoices and expenses to tours.

Mobile-Friendly Design update

First of all, we would like to wish you a great 2022 with good health and lots of shows for you and your artists!
We hope together that things will get back to normal soon.

We have been working on an important update, and we’re happy to announce that one of the big to-do’s has been ticked off the list.

Mobile Friendly

Working as a booking agent isn’t a simple 9 to 5 job. Sometimes you’re on the road, and you can’t always access a computer to make some changes or view some important Booker Tools data.

Over the past few months, we have completely rewritten the Booker Tools layout files, and have made the website mobile-friendly.
In combination with our mobile apps for band members, all of our tools are now accessible on multiple devices.

Other than that, we have implemented some bug fixes and little changes to make the software work better.

Show documents & software rewrite

We hope you are all doing fine and are enjoying the restart of our industry. Stats indicate that all of your calendars for 2022 are getting filled, so better times are ahead!

Show Documents

Venue riders, festival information, parking cards, lighting schedule, etc. you name it. We all receive them and it is now possible to upload the files or link to external files in Booker Tools.

Even better, you can share the files with your bands, who can access them in their app or Booker Tools for Bands web application.

Your software has been rewritten from scratch

Due to some very technical nerdy stuff, Booker Tools has been rewritten from scratch and is now completely ready for the future.
Due to this change, the software is faster, can be updated faster, and is ready for the future.

When you receive this email, we have already installed the new version of Booker Tools online.

Expenses, Popups, Ical

Dear booker,

We hope you and your relatives are doing fine during these difficult times. Better times are ahead and the resounding messages of hope and togetherness abound throughout our industry !

Booker Tools development luckily hasn’t been affected, and we have been working hard on some exciting new features and much-needed bugfixes.


The possibility to see the shows of bands in your own calendar application has been requested many times. We’ve listened and we are happy to announce that this feature is live on the platform.

Last year we added invoicing, now we are adding the possibility to add expenses. We’re sure this will help you to get a complete financial picture of your project.

Latest improvements

Based on the incredible user feedback we’ve received (thanks again), the following features have been implemented:

  • opening a popup from within another popup e.g. adding a band from the “add show”-popup is now possible
  • the ability to use your team logo in all templates
  • first version of the generated tour roadbook is online
  • + some more little changes and bugfixes

Next up: improved show transport, document uploading and an update for the band app!

2020 improvements

We’ve been gathering and grouping all your remarks (thanks again) and have put most of them on our release schedule.

These features have just been put live :

  • you can now copy paste your time tables & schedules in the show timing component
  • the calendar is now saving its last state when changing pages
  • tour dates are displayed on the calendar with a yellow background
  • ... + some more little changes and bugfixes

Next up are expenses & improved document uploading.

Invoicing added

Great news ! We’ve completed some milestones in the last months.
Not only did we complete a huge technical update, we’ve also introduced a new logo and style. But most importantly: we’ve added a frequently asked feature: invoicing

Booker Tools makes it easy

Creating invoices in Booker Tools is fast and easy. As with all other features, invoices are tightly coupled to a show, band, company or other and can be easily generated.
As you know – Booker Tools offers the option to sort columns (date, country,..) easily according to your needs. From now on, we store these preferences, even when you log-out!
We’ve also improved loading time in multiple ways and crushed a number of bugs

Next up are expenses & improved document uploading.

Advanced search and Android/iPhone app

Lots of exciting things are happening at Bookertools and we’re pleased to share the following update with you.

We have added an advanced search function, allowing you to create powerful queries that will make your life easier.
Without further ado, it is a milestone for our team to present you our first Bookertools related mobile app for bandmembers logically called Bookertools for Bands

Advanced search functionality

We know searching for that one venue, festival or contact that you urgently need can be a pain.

To make your live easier, we’ve added an advanced search function to the search page.
Find the needle in a haystack in a quick and easy way by configuring the correct filters.

Bookertools for Bands : Android/iPhone app

We’re very happy to announce the mobile app version of our platform to provide band/crew members with all show information.
With the app (available for both Android and iPhone) all show information entered in Bookertools, is available for connected band/crew members.

The functionality is the same as our mobile friendly website for band/crewmembers (

  • get an overview of all upcoming/past shows & appointments
  • see all show details (except financial details) as filled in by the booker in Bookertools
  • see and add appointments to note holidays/general availability to the booker
